James Reeve- CEO & President

James Reeve is second-generation President and CEO of Chapel Valley. At Chapel Valley he is responsible for commercial and residential projects of all sizes. Under his leadership, the firm is focused on being the best landscape contractor for commercial and residential clients by providing top-quality plant material, on-time installation and outstanding customer service.

James has been a leader in industry organizations throughout his career. As an entrepreneur committed to landscape excellence, James actively worked with the Associated Landscape Contractors of America (ALCA), now known as the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) and the Landscape Contractors Association MD-DC-VA (LCA); to improve industry training and set higher standards of professional excellence.

Bill Fiester - Chief Operating Officer, COO

Bill is a forward-thinking, bilingual, operations manager with a proven record of accomplishment in business development, operations/territorial management, branch/account management, employee development, new talent acquisition, negotiations, customer retention, and strategic planning. He works to leverage a results-driven mindset and strong communication skills to motivate a workforce to exceed goals, redefine expectations, and maximize efficiency. As a cost-conscious and meticulous producer, who implements best practices and provides lasting solutions. In Bill’s 25 plus years of leadership experience he has proven to be an enterprising leader who positions a business as an industry front-runner.

Bonnie Szabo- Chief Financial Officer, CFO

Bonnie Szabo brings a wealth of accounting and leadership experience to Chapel Valley. Bonnie joined our team with an impressive background leading finance teams in the private equity space as well as the service industry with Greystone Corporation and Wachovia Bank. She is a knowledgeable accountant with fifteen years progressive experience including solid planning and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments under pressure.

Bonnie graduated from George Washington University with a BS in Business Administration and earned her master’s degree in accounting from the University of Maryland.

Brian Hoffman – Construction Division Manager

Brian started his career in the landscape industry when he interned for Chapel Valley in 1991. He came on board full time in February of 1993, as a commercial supervisor. Brian proceeded to work out of the corporate office in Maryland until 1996; from there he transferred to the Sterling, Virginia office to start a new residential construction branch. Brian now oversees all of construction activities in both Maryland and Virginia markets.
Brian graduated in 1992 from Penn State University with a Bachelor Degree in Landscape Contracting.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Brian moved to Maryland in 1993 and currently resides in Frederick Maryland with his daughter Camryn.

Tammy Fisher – Director of Human Resources

Tammy joined Chapel Valley in 2015 and brings with her 12 years of HR experience. Tammy has worked in many different industries; the most recent being in the life insurance industry for Legal & General America. At Legal & General America, she was responsible for all employee on-boarding, employee training and development and HR management and oversight of the Company’s Chicago branch. Prior positions held by Tammy include HR Director for Wilson College and HR Manager for Control Risks.

Tammy graduated from Old Dominion University with a degree in Psychology and University of Phoenix with an MBA in HR Management. She holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute.

Tammy is originally from Monrovia, MD and currently resides in Hagerstown, MD with her husband and daughter.

Lucas Castor - Chief Growth Officer

Lucas joined Chapel Valley in 2014 bringing more than 20 years of industry experience with him.  At Chapel Valley Lucas oversees the sales, marketing and estimating teams and is responsible for identifying areas for market expansion. Prior to joining Chapel Valley, Lucas most recently oversaw the national accounts team at a national landscape services provider and personally was the national account manager for over 30M in revenue.  In this role Lucas was responsible for team operations including customer satisfaction, organic growth, customer retention, and national initiatives for customers.

Lucas graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Landscape Architecture and is a licensed landscape architect.  In addition to working on high end residential and large commercial developments, Lucas has also worked with estimating, marketing and construction oversight. 

Originally from Indianapolis, Lucas moved to Maryland in 2011 with his wife and 3 daughters.
