Debbie Heaver, Strategic Account Executive
Debbie brings over 30+years of experience to Chapel Valley and is versed in servicing commercial real estate through contracting and landscape management.
She is passionate about customer satisfaction and works to create an environment that stresses integrity, excellence, and teamwork. Debbie is responsible for sales growth through retention, sales, and service. She partners with Chapel’s largest clients as a single point of contact to ensure expectations are being exceeded and helps to identify areas for enhancements as well as assisting in capital improvement budgets.
In her spare time, Debbie enjoys spending time with her family, working in her yard, going to the beach, or riding her motorcycle.
Jay Mills, Business Development Executive (Northern VA & DC Markets)
Jay Mills has been with Chapel Valley since 2018 as a business development executive. Although he is new to the landscape industry, he has been working in sales for over ten years. Before Chapel Valley Jay worked for an IT reseller selling directly to the federal government.
Jay has been a part of NVAA (Northern Virginia Apartment Association) for the last since 2020 with Chapel Valley.
Jay is happily married and has a daughter. He loves taking his two dogs to parks and hiking. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, playing video games, and bike riding.
Donnalee Harman, Business Development Executive (Western Maryland & DC Market)
Donnalee joined Chapel Valley in May of 2021 as a Business Development Executive. She has over 15 years of experience in both operations and sales roles in the landscaping industry and prior to that 15+ years in client relationship management.
Her attention to detail and ability to work with clients to address their individual needs and developing creative solutions to match has been what has driven her career.
Donnalee lives in Lovettsville, VA. She has 3 grown daughters and 2 grandchildren. When not spending time visiting them, she enjoys traveling, wineries, and anything on the water.
Rose Nemeroff, Business Development Executive (Baltimore & Howard County Markets)
Rose is the newest member of the Business Development team. She comes to Chapel Valley with over 17 years combined experience in retail sales management and business to business sales. She ensures customer satisfaction through her strengths in communication and collaboration with the local branch to identify property needs and solutions. Rose spearheads our efforts in Baltimore and Howard County, forging connections with partners who prioritize quality service and enduring relationships.
Rose has called Baltimore home for over 15 years. She is married and has two daughters. Her favorite part about life in Maryland is the chance to enjoy the beauty of every season. In her spare time, you can find her bringing joy and creativity into her home through planning activities and events that celebrate the season or upcoming holiday.
Mike Bauer, Business Development Executive (Atlanta Market)
Mike is a business development executive for our Atlanta market, aligning property managers with high-quality landscape teams. Having been in the landscape industry for over a decade and accumulating numerous management roles throughout that time, Mike has a true understanding of what it takes to get the job done right. He is passionate about the green industry and graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Agronomy. When he is not landscaping, you can find him on the golf course or at a UGA game cheering on his alma mater with his wife and daughters.
Victoria Valente, Business Development Coordinator
Victoria has been with Chapel Valley since 2019 and is responsible for the overall support and assistance of our sales team and marketing efforts. Additionally, Victoria upholds Chapel’s standards of high-quality customer service by assisting as an operations liaison for our portfolio clients.
Victoria graduated from Christopher Newport University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Management.
In her free time, Victoria enjoys being with her family, spending time outside as well as cooking and trying new recipes. She currently resides in Northern Virginia with her husband and daughters.
Estate and Commercial Installation Executives
Cara Burns
Cara brings 24 years of industry experience to Chapel Valley. She began her career in the field as a Pest Control Applicator, then moved into managing small residential installation projects. This position allowed her to transition to a high-end residential design/build company as the Operations Manager, and helped the company win many awards for projects installed. Cara than segued into an account management position at a residential maintenance and install company, which helped her to learn another side of the industry, working with customers.
Cara stayed in residential Account Management for 10 years before gaining experience in the commercial side of the industry. She spent a couple of years at a National Commercial landscape maintenance company, before joining Chapel Valley at the beginning of 2022. Cara has proven herself well versed with landscape management, design build, and exceptional customer service.
