Brian Bergmann – Director of Business Development – Richmond and Norfolk Markets
Brian Bergmann has over a decade of experience in providing clients with options to fit their landscaping goals. Brian specializes in working with clients that know the value of amazing curb appeal and require top-notch service. In this role, Brian works with his team in Richmond, Hampton Roads, and Atlanta to grow our Southern Markets. Before joining Chapel Valley in 2015, Brian spent several years as a Business Development Executive with a national landscape company and over 15 years with Marriott. While working in several different roles he has attended many courses ranging from customer service, sales proficiency and enjoyed completing a Dale Carnegie training course.
Brian is an active member of the National Apartment Association, serves on the Events & Education Committee and Supplier Council, Community Institute Association, and is the Committee Chair for the Membership Committee at the Greater Williamsburg Business Alliance.
Brian enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, boating, and woodworking at their home near Williamsburg, VA.
Mike Bauer – Business Development Executive – Atlanta Market
Mike is a business development executive for our Atlanta market, aligning property managers with high-quality landscape teams. Having been in the landscape industry for over a decade and accumulating numerous management roles throughout that time, Mike has a true understanding of what it takes to get the job done right. He is passionate about the green industry and graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Agronomy. When he is not landscaping, you can find him on the golf course or at a UGA game cheering on his alma mater with his wife and daughter.
Jay Mills – BDE – Northern Virginia and DC Markets
Jay Mills has been with Chapel Valley since 2018 as a business development executive. Although he is new to the landscape industry, he has been working in sales for over ten years. Before Chapel Valley Jay worked for an IT reseller selling directly to the federal government. Jay has taken many different courses throughout the years. Courses such as customer service, a variety of Microsoft courses, sales courses such as sales plus & fundamentals of selling to the IT Government to name a few.
Jay has been a part of NVAA (Northern Virginia Apartment Association) for the last since 2020 with Chapel Valley.
Jay is happily married and has a daughter. He love taking his two dogs to parks and hiking. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, playing video games, and bike riding.
Donnalee Harman – BDE – Western Maryland and DC Markets
Donnalee joined Chapel Valley in May of 2021 as a Business Development Executive. She has over a decade of experience in both operations and sales roles in the landscaping industry and prior to that 15+ years in client relationship management.
Her attention to detail and ability to work with clients to address their individual needs and developing creative solutions to match has been what has driven her career.
Donnalee is married and lives in Lovettsville, VA with her husband Jon . They have 5 grown children and 2 grandchildren. When not spending time visiting them, she enjoys traveling, wineries, and anything on the water.
Will Scott – BDE – Eastern Maryland and DC Markets
Will is a seasoned business development professional with over 15 years of landscape industry experience at both the small enterprise and national entity level. Prior to joining Chapel Valley, Will founded and ran a successful mortgage brokerage with offices in Baltimore and Tampa, Florida. Will’s focus on solution-oriented strategies centered on project economics, efficiencies and budget management has earned him ‘trusted advisor’ status with many of his clients. Will is active in Community Associations Institute (CAI), International Facility Management Associations (IFMA) and various Maryland area Chambers of Commerce.
Debbie Heaver – Strategic Account Executive
Debbie brings over 30+years of experience to Chapel Valley and is versed in servicing commercial real estate through contracting and landscape management.
She is passionate about customer satisfaction and works to create an environment that stresses integrity, excellence, and teamwork. Debbie is responsible for sales growth through retention, sales, and service. She partners with Chapel’s largest clients as a single point of contact to ensure expectations are being exceeded and helps to identify areas for enhancements as well as assisting in capital improvement budgets.
In her spare time, Debbie enjoys spending time with her family, working in her yard, playing with her horses, going to the beach, or riding her motorcycle.
Victoria Valente – Business Development Coordinator
Victoria joined Chapel in 2019 upon relocating to Loudoun County. As Business Development Coordinator, Victoria is responsible for the overall support and assistance of our sales team and marketing efforts. Additionally, Victoria upholds Chapel’s standards of high-quality customer service by assisting as an operations liaison for our portfolio clients. Victoria graduated from Christopher Newport University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Management. Prior to joining Chapel Valley, Victoria worked in private wealth management in her hometown of Charlottesville, VA. In her free time, Victoria enjoys being with her family, spending time outside, as well as cooking and trying new recipes. Victoria resides in Ashburn, VA with her husband and daughter.
Anna Buczkowska – Senior Landscape Designer
Anna is a landscape designer at Chapel Valley who has practiced for over 15 years. Anna is responsible for leading the design department and has experience working on a range of landscape architectural projects, including high-end residential designs, urban streetscapes, master plans for corporate properties and apartment communities. She is passionate about connecting people with their environment. Anna received a Master of Landscape Architecture from Virginia Tech in 2014. Prior to coming to the United States in 2003, she earned a horticulture degree from the University of Life Sciences in Poland.
When Anna is not working on projects, she enjoys exploring outdoors with her family and creating floral arrangements for wedding events.
