  • Landscape Installation Crew members

    The main responsibilities are: preparing soil for installation (digging holes, placing plant material properly in the holes), planting all plant material, pouring concrete, and installing patios. Applicants must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions, doing physical work, able to lift/carry 70+ pounds often.  

    Requirements for this position: We prefer individuals with experience, but we are willing to train individuals willing to learn.

  • Gardener

    The Gardener has the primary responsibility of cultivating and growing plants, flowers, and lawns. A summary of the duties for this position are: manage and control weeds, mechanically and chemically, cutting and trimming shrubs and low trees to shape, planting color, and other grounds maintenance of commercial or residential properties. The ideal candidate must be very organized, self-motivated, and possess exceptional time management skills.

    Requirements for this position:  High school diploma or GED is required. 2-year college degree in horticulture, floriculture, or similar field is preferred. 2 years of landscape maintenance is required!  Register Spray Technician license is required or needs to be obtained within 30 days of being hired.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.  Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred, but not required.

    Business Development Executive

    The Business Development Executive has primary responsibility for generating leads with new prospective clients. The Business Development Executive is responsible for achieving the budgeted sales and gross margin goals of his/her branch and for fulfilling the needs and expectations of the clients. The Business Development Executive is measured on his/her ability to achieve the sales goals for new base maintenance for his/her branch.  

    Requirements for this position: 2-3 years landscape or related industry sales experience required, 2-year college degree in horticulture or related field preferred, 2-3 years of training in horticulture, sales, design, marketing, estimating, and installation preferred, and a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.  General irrigation and IPM knowledge and estimating and budgeting system knowledge.

    Property Manager

    The Maintenance Property Manager has the primary responsibility of building a strong relationship with existing customers, quality control, renewals, enhancements, irrigation, lighting and plant healthcare sales for a designated geographical area. Execute high quality maintenance services in accordance with contract specifications and within given budgeted parameters. This individual will directly manage several Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians in accordance to Chapel Valley’s policies, industry guidelines, applicable laws and safety guidelines in a professional manner.

    Requirements for this position: 2 year college degree in horticulture or related field and/or combination of experience and education, 2 years of satisfactory maintenance supervisory experience, general irrigation and IPM knowledge.   Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, general estimating and budgeting system knowledge, excellent time management and organizational skills, bi-lingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred, but not required.

    Landscape Installation Supervisor

    The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, great customer service skills, and positive attitude. This individual will be the front-line leader in the performance and delivery of high quality landscape material and installation services provided by the company. The Landscape Installation supervisor will lead and supervise the crew members in accordance with safety regulations, quality assurance, and contract specifications.

    Requirements for this position: High School diploma required.  2 or 4 year degree in horticulture or related field, preferred.  Minimum of 2 years of landscaping, hardscaping and/or foreman experience or related field required.  Able to lift and carry 70 pounds over the course of an 8-10 hour day.  Ability to read and interpret landscape blue prints.

    Landscape Installation Crew members

    A summary of responsibilities are: preparing soil for installation (digging holes, placing plant material properly in the holes), planting all plant material, pouring concrete, and installing patios. Applicants must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions, doing physical work.

    Requirements for this position: Must have at least 6 months of experience in landscaping and/or hardscaping maintenance (pouring concrete, installing masonry walls, installing stone patios, drainage experience, and wood work) or related field.  Ability to lift/carry 70+ pounds often.

  • Irrigation Assistant

    The Irrigation Assistant will be working very closely with the Irrigation Technician, landscape maintenance teams, and our clients. This individual will be working side by side with our Irrigation Technician performing the following duties: installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of irrigation equipment, irrigation systems and small pumps; as well as assisting the maintenance Crew members with mowing, trimming, edging, leaf removal, snow removal, etc. This position requires regular physical labor and working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

    Requirements for this position:  High School diploma/GED is required.  2-year college degree in Horticulture or related field preferred.  Some experience with irrigation, horticulture, golf course, technical trade preferred, but not required.  Valid driver's license with a clean record is preferred, but not required.

    Maintenance Crew member

    A summary of the responsibilities are: loading and unloading equipment & material from trucks following established safety guidelines; perform mowing, weeding, watering, mulching, pruning, edging, leaf removal, and any other task assigned by the supervisor. Applicants must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions, doing physical work, able to lift/carry 50+ pounds often. 

    Requirements for this position: Some experience in landscaping or a similar field is highly preferred, but will train. Ability to carry/lift 75 pounds over a 10-12 hour shift.  Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred, but not required.

  • Enhancement Crew Leader

    The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in leading Maintenance Crew members. This position is responsible for leading a 4-5 person team in the completion various daily tasks which can change throughout the seasons. A typical day during the growing season may include mowing, weeding, spraying, pruning, trimming, and other various forms of maintenance. Requirements for this position: At least 2 years of experience in leading crew members, Associate's Degree in Horticulture or similar field or a combination of education/experience, a valid driver’s license with a clean record and you will be asked to provide a copy of your record prior to being hired.
