  • Commercial Landscape Estimator

    Summary of the position:To cost efficient landscape job estimates to the Business Development Team within a timely and accurate manner.  Determining the cost of material, equipment, and labor of multiple sites at once are key components to this role.  This position will continuously improve and promote a positive company image with clients, employees, subcontractors, and the general public. Requirements: 2 or 4-year degree in Horticulture or related field is required and 2 years previous of training in horticulture, estimating, marketing, and installation preferred and/or a combination of education and experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office, intermediate to advanced computer knowledge, excellent time management and organizational skills.  This position will report to the Market Development Manager.

  • Branch Manager

    The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the branch. Key responsibilities of the position are: To deliver high quality landscape services and to perform the services safely, effectively develop people and guide their careers, and efficiently execute all contracted work. The Branch Manager is responsible for meeting all financial goals and for achieving acceptable renewal and client satisfaction marks. With direct supervision of multiple Property Managers and a Branch Administrator, the Branch Manager has the responsibility to hire, train, lead and inspire the entire branch. Using their skills in project/time management, decision making, applied technology, business accounting, horticulture/landscaping and equipment, with managing a fleet of company vehicles. The Branch Manager is empowered to operate and grow the branch within their designated market.

    Requirements for this position: 2 or 4 year degree in Business or a related field of Horticulture or minimum of 5 years of industry experience, including a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.Certified Landscape Technician and Certified Professional Horticulturist; Certified Landscape Professional designation preferred.  General exposure and awareness of Spanish language and culture.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, proven knowledge of, or former training in horticulture, marketing, finance and personnel management, excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Property Manager

    The Maintenance Property Manager has the primary responsibility of building a strong relationship with existing customers, quality control, renewals, enhancements, irrigation, lighting and plant healthcare sales for a designated geographical area. Execute high quality maintenance services in accordance with contract specifications and within given budgeted parameters. This individual will directly manage several Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians in accordance to Chapel Valley’s policies, industry guidelines, applicable laws and safety guidelines in a professional manner.

    Requirements for this position: 2 year college degree in horticulture or related field and/or combination of experience and education, 2 years of satisfactory maintenance supervisory experience, general irrigation and IPM knowledge.   Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, general estimating and budgeting system knowledge, excellent time management and organizational skills, bi-lingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred, but not required.

  • Enhancement Crew Leader

    The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in leading Maintenance Crew members. This position is responsible for leading a 4-5 person team in the completion various daily tasks which can change throughout the seasons. A typical day during the growing season may include mowing, weeding, spraying, pruning, trimming, and other various forms of maintenance. Requirements for this position: At least 2 years of experience in leading crew members, Associate's Degree in Horticulture or similar field or a combination of education/experience, a valid driver’s license with a clean record and you will be asked to provide a copy of your record prior to being hired.
