James Reeve – CEO

James Reeve is the second-generation CEO of Chapel Valley. He is responsible for projects of all sizes. Under his leadership, the firm is focused on being the best landscape contractor for clients by providing top-quality plant material, on-time installation, and outstanding customer service.

James has been a leader in industry organizations throughout his career. As an entrepreneur committed to landscape excellence, James actively worked with the Associated Landscape Contractors of America (ALCA), now known as the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP), and the Landscape Contractors Association MD-DC-VA (LCA) to improve industry training and set higher standards of professional excellence.

Bill Fiester – President & COO

Bill is a forward-thinking, bilingual, operations manager with a proven record of accomplishment in business development, operations/territorial management, branch/account management, employee development, new talent acquisition, negotiations, customer retention, and strategic planning. He works to leverage a results-driven mindset and strong communication skills to motivate the workforce to exceed goals, redefine expectations, and maximize efficiency. As a cost-conscious and meticulous producer, he implements best practices and provides lasting solutions. In Bill’s 25-plus years of leadership experience, he has proven to be an enterprising leader who positions a business as an industry front-runner.

Brian Hoffman – Construction Division Manager

Brian started his career in the landscape industry when he interned for Chapel Valley in 1991. He joined full-time in February of 1993 as a commercial supervisor. Brian proceeded to work in the corporate office in Maryland until 1996; from there he transferred to the Sterling, Virginia office to start a new residential construction branch. Brian now oversees all of construction activities in both the Maryland and Virginia markets.

Brian graduated in 1992 from Penn State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Contracting.

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Brian moved to Maryland in 1993 and currently resides in Frederick, Maryland with his daughter Camryn.

Tammy Fisher – Director of Human Resources

Tammy joined Chapel Valley in 2015 and brings with her over 12 years of HR experience.  Tammy has held the positions of HR Manager and HR Director in many different industries including international business risk consulting, higher education, and the life insurance industry.  Tammy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and an MBA with a concentration in HR Management.

She holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute and is a certified Myers-Briggs Practitioner.

Tammy is originally from Monrovia, MD and currently resides in Myersville, MD with her husband and two children.

Lucas Castor – Chief Growth Officer

Lucas joined Chapel Valley in 2014 bringing more than 20 years of industry experience with him.  Lucas oversees the sales, marketing and estimating teams, and is responsible for identifying areas for market expansion. Prior to joining Chapel Valley, Lucas most recently oversaw the national accounts team at a national landscape services provider and personally was the national account manager for over $30 million in revenue. In said role, Lucas was responsible for team operations including customer satisfaction, organic growth, customer retention, and national initiatives for customers.

Lucas graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Landscape Architecture and is a licensed landscape architect.  In addition to working on high-end residential and large commercial developments, he has also worked with estimating, marketing, and construction oversight.

Originally from Indianapolis, Lucas moved to Maryland in 2011 with his wife and three daughters.
